What is Invisalign®? Invisalign® is the invisible way to
straighten your teeth without braces. Invisalign® uses a series of
clear removable aligners (pictured to the left) to straighten your
teeth without metal wires or brackets. Invisalign® has been proven
effective in clinical research and in orthodontic practices
throughout America. How Does Invisalign® Work? You wear each set of
aligners for about 2 weeks, removing them only to eat, drink,
brush, and floss. As you replace each aligner with the next in the
series, your teeth will move - little by little, week by week -
until they have straightened to the final position your
orthodontist or dentist has prescribed. You'll visit your
orthodontist about once every 6 weeks to ensure that your treatment
is progressing as planned. Total treatment time averages 9-15
months and the average number of aligners worn during treatment is
between 18 and 30, but both will vary from case to case. Click here

The video is available as a Quicktime movie format and
as a MPEG movie format. To download the video, follow these
steps:
- Please select a video format to begin downloading: Invisalign
Informational Video (Quicktime Movie) or Invisalign
Informational Video (MPEG/MPG Movie).
- Once the downloading begins, you will be prompted to "Save
the program to disk" or "Run this program from its
current location". Select "Save the program to
disk".
- Save the file to your "C:" drive.
- Once the file transfer is complete, go to your desktop (or to
the location where you saved the installation file, if not your
desktop).
- Double-click the installation file named
"AlignMOV.exe" (or "AlignMPG.exe" if you've
downloaded the MPEG version) to begin the installation process.)
The movie will be installed into the default location,
"C:".
- Once the process is complete, double click on
"AlignMOV.mov" or "AlignMPG.mpg" to begin
playing the movie.
Please note, to play the file, you must have Apple QuickTime or
Windows Media Player installed on your computer. To download Apple
QuickTime, click
here. To download Windows Media Player,
click here. Downloading time will depend on your Internet
connection speed and therefore may take an hour or longer using a
56k modem.
